Software Engineer III, Full Stack, Chrome Web Store

Google's software engineers develop next-generation technologies impacting billions of users. The Platforms and Devices team works on computing software platforms across environments and first party devices, combining AI, software, and hardware to build innovative user experiences worldwide.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with full-stack development, including back-end (Java, Python, Golang, C++) and front-end (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Preferred: Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Preferred: Experience with developing accessible technologies.
• Preferred: Experience with Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.

• Write product or system development code.
• Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
