Senior Java Developer

Verita HR is a rapidly growing organization operating within the payments industry, working on innovative international projects that contribute to the development of global payment standards, including mobile payment solutions.

• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring and Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with REST APIs, system integrations and distributed systems
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ and relational databases, preferably Oracle
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, GitLab and CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with JBoss/WildFly and application security tools
• English at B2 level or higher

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications and services
• Implement new features and enhance existing functionality
• Develop and support system integrations and REST APIs
• Review technical documentation and contribute to solution design
• Troubleshoot issues, optimise performance and resolve defects
• Perform security remediation activities and support system upgrades
• Collaborate with development, QA and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
