Software Engineer II, YouTube Ad Infrastructures

Google's software engineers develop next-generation technologies that impact billions of users, working on projects including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile. At YouTube, the team focuses on enabling people to share stories and connect through technology and creativity, aiming to support growth and innovation in YouTube Ads infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 1 year of experience with software development using C++.

• Contribute towards the development of highly scalable, maintainable and reliable YouTube Ads Infra systems to support business growth.
• Partner with other Software Engineers within the team to contribute towards ambitious goals and scaling the system to support growth.
• Write exemplary clear, maintainable, tested and performant code.
