Lead Go Developer

Andersen is hiring a Lead Go Developer for a project building scalable distributed systems and high-performance platforms supporting business growth and innovation. The customer is an international organization operating in the financial and protection services domain, providing diverse customer-oriented solutions across multiple business areas and markets. The project focuses on building and evolving a high-performance, scalable distributed platform developed in Go, emphasizing efficient concurrency models, reliability, and maintainability.

• Strong experience in Go development, building scalable and high-performance backend systems for 7+ years.
• Proven experience leading and coordinating multiple development teams, driving Go implementations, and ensuring architectural consistency for 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of Golang, including designing and developing scalable, distributed backend systems.
• Solid understanding of concurrency patterns in Go, including goroutines, channels, and synchronization primitives.
• Proven experience in system design focusing on performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or above.

• Designing and evolving scalable distributed systems in Go, selecting appropriate concurrency models balancing performance and maintainability.
• Collaborating with Product Managers to translate business goals into technical plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Anticipating and highlighting edge cases, risks, and technical constraints early in planning.
• Representing the engineering team in meetings with external stakeholders, explaining technical topics clearly and challenging unrealistic requirements.
• Leading and performing code reviews for senior engineers to ensure high code quality, resilience, and reliability.
• Driving improvements in CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes to enable faster and safer code delivery.
