Senior Java Microservices Developer – Full Stack Technologies

This role is for a leading global bank's Collateral platform within the Global Banking and Markets division, focusing on financial technology and banking infrastructure.

• 8+ years of hands-on Java technology stack development experience
• Strong expertise in designing and developing microservices using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and DevSecOps pipeline setup and maintenance
• Excellent understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Proven experience working on large-scale projects from conception to implementation
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AI-assisted code-generation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Experience with Spring Cloud components (Hystrix, Eureka, Zuul, Sleuth, Feign, Ribbon)
• Development experience with distributed applications and in-memory data stores (Oracle Coherence, Redis, Hazelcast)
• Knowledge of messaging systems like MQ or Solace
• Cloud platform knowledge (GCP/AWS) and experience with automated deployment tools such as Ansible
• Skills in TypeScript, Angular, and HTML5
• Experience with relational databases like Oracle and PGSQL

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code within microservices architecture
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle with an emphasis on quality and automation
• Adopt DevOps and Agile principles to improve deployment frequency and reliability
• Develop automated tooling and CI/CD pipelines to streamline support and deployment processes
• Collaborate closely with QA and operations teams on incident resolution, monitoring, and problem management
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill growth and knowledge sharing
• Support platform stability through proactive monitoring and problem resolution
