Business Analyst

AVENGA (Agencja Pracy, nr KRAZ: 8448) is hiring for a Business Analyst & Project Manager role based in Warsaw, Poland, supporting the development of a bank’s strategic cross-asset pricing and risk management platform.

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in Financial Markets in end user facing roles as Business Analyst or Project Manager
• Solid understanding of Trading, Risk Management, and Technology
• Good communication skills with senior stakeholders
• Ability to gather and document functional requirements
• Open to learning and adaptive to changing situations
• Experience collaborating with global, multi-cultural teams
• Knowledge of linear interest rates, fixed income products, and market conventions
• Knowledge of options and derivatives risk and pricing in at least one other asset class (ideally FX or commodities)
• Understanding of market data (Intraday and EOD) and trade data across asset classes
• Exposure to SQL, Python, or VBA is a plus
• Strong academic background in finance, economics, financial mathematics, or statistics
• CFA, CQF, FRM, or PMP certification is a plus
• Fluent English required

• Manage and support global projects and users related to the bank’s pricing and risk management platform
• Collaborate closely with Traders, Market Risk Managers, and Product Controllers in Financial Markets
• Work with global teams across countries
• Run demos, discuss, gather, and document functional requirements from Front Office users
