Mainframe Application Analyst

• Deep understanding of mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, IMS)
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, impact analysis and documentation of the application
• Strong analytical skills for validating developer changes and test results
• Ability to document test outcomes comprehensively
• Experience supporting Application Maintenance (AM) teams with production incident resolution
• Coordination with Release Managers for deployment activities
• Eagerness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving technologies
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of CICS, Application Maintenance, Cobol, IMS, DB2, VSAN, JCL, VSAM, Requirements gathering, Impact analysis, Test documentation, Incident resolution
• English language proficiency

• Gathering requirements and performing impact analysis for mainframe applications
• Validating developer changes and test results
• Documenting test outcomes comprehensively
• Supporting Application Maintenance (AM) teams with production incident resolution
• Coordinating with Release Managers for deployment activities
• Working in a hybrid model from Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warsaw (2/3 days per week from the office)
• Collaborating in an international, Scandinavian-culture environment
