Observability Engineer

Jit Team is a Polish company employing over 770 experienced experts, delivering innovative IT solutions in collaboration with global clients. They have a long-standing partnership with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, engaging over 200 personnel in more than 60 projects for this Norwegian financial services provider. The client emphasizes Scandinavian culture, work-life balance, and international teams with English language exposure.

• Understanding of observability fundamentals (metrics, logs, traces).
• Experience with Grafana and Grafana Alerting.
• Experience configuring data sources (e.g. Prometheus, InfluxDB, AppDynamics).
• Knowledge of dashboard design and data visualization best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code / Provisioning as Code.
• Good knowledge of Git/Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in JSON.
• Scripting skills (Bash and/or Python).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Application development or engineering background.
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Splunk.
• Hands-on experience with AppDynamics.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Experience working in international Agile teams.

• Participate actively in the team's planning sessions and contribute ideas for improvements.
• Collaborate with technical experts and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Implement new solutions and troubleshoot technical issues within your area of responsibility.
• Develop and maintain observability solutions and data flows.
• Create and enhance Grafana and Power BI dashboards.
• Support system monitoring and help improve platform reliability and performance.
