Senior Java Developer

The client is a major Norwegian financial services provider with a global presence, emphasizing work-life balance and international teamwork.

• Strong Java 21 development skills, preferably with Spring Boot
• Experience working in a DevOps-oriented environment
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API development
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases, SQL, and DataStage (ETL)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
• Experience working with Kafka
• Good teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment

Nice to have:

• Apache Camel
• Oracle SOA Suite experience
• Knowledge of Scrum methodology
• Understanding of CDC concepts, especially Debezium

• Developing and maintaining functionalities related to Financial Crime Prevention processes
• Designing, implementing, and enhancing integration solutions and data flows between systems
• Building and maintaining microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Supporting ETL processes and working with databases to ensure efficient data processing
• Collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and platform stability
• Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
