Technical Lead - Software Development Engineering

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple engineering teams and driving both delivery excellence and team development.
• Strong technical background with experience in several of the following: Snowflake or Databricks; SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch; Python or C#/.NET; React / JavaScript; Kafka or EventHub.
• Proven ability to design and deliver distributed systems, APIs, and data-intensive applications.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience in raising engineering standards, improving code quality, and influencing technical direction across teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with data-heavy platforms, analytics solutions, or data products.

• Lead multiple engineering teams (typically 2–4 teams of 4–5 engineers) responsible for designing, building, deploying, and operating modern data and platform solutions.
• Drive delivery of scalable, data-centric platforms across backend, frontend, and data engineering stacks.
• Define and communicate engineering objectives, roadmaps, and priorities aligned with product strategy and organizational goals.
• Champion modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, secure development, observability, and cloud-native architecture.
• Provide technical leadership across a diverse technology ecosystem including Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Python, C#/.NET, React, JavaScript, Kafka, and EventHub.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and Data/Analytics teams to translate business and data requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
• Influence architectural and platform decisions at the management level.
• Own operational excellence, ensuring reliability, performance, and lifecycle management of services.
• Develop engineering talent through coaching, mentorship, and career growth while fostering a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
