Principal Java Engineer

GFT Poland is hiring for a role focused on building a modern, in-house Foreign Exchange (FX) trading platform. The platform supports pricing, booking, routing, risk management, and valuations in a high-performance, low-latency trading environment. The team operates in a DevOps-oriented manner and collaborates closely with business stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience with Java 17+
• Knowledge of concurrency and low-latency programming
• Experience with data structures and functional programming
• Experience with REST APIs and messaging technologies
• Knowledge of TDD and unit testing frameworks
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in agile teams
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability
• Experience with AI coding assistants
