Forward Deployed Engineer II, GCC

Google Cloud focuses on AI-driven business success by combining advanced technology, infrastructure, and talent. The role involves embedding with strategic accounts to deploy complex AI systems and provide feedback for product development, working closely with DeepMind and leveraging Google's AI portfolio including Gemini models and Vertex AI platform.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python).
• Experience in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, generative AI agents, and DevOps.
• Preferred: Master’s or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Experience with multi-agent systems frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, ADK) and complex patterns (e.g., ReAct, self-reflection).
• Knowledge of LLM-native metrics and optimization techniques.
• Ability to implement secure agentic workflows with MCP, tool-calling, and OAuth authentication.
• Fluency in French, Spanish, Italian, or other European languages.

• Lead the Discovery-to-Deployment Journey: Serve as lead developer for complex AI applications, transitioning prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Bridge the Enterprise Gap: Architect and code integration between Google AI products and customer infrastructure including APIs and security.
• Engineer for Production Excellence: Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to meet accuracy, safety, and latency requirements.
• Act as a Product Catalyst: Identify field patterns and friction points to create reusable modules or product feature requests.
• Upskill and Embed: Collaborate with customer engineering teams to instill best practices and ensure long-term success.
