Engineer and operate the target platform on GCP/GKE to support migration of 100+ microservices.
Partner with application delivery pods to onboard services to Kubernetes, including deployment patterns, runtime configuration and operational readiness.
Provide hands-on support deploying Java and Python microservices into Kubernetes (manifests/Helm, config, secrets, scaling, health checks).
Build and standardise CI/CD pipelines for containerised workloads (build, test, security scanning, deploy, rollback).
Implement and evolve observability: metrics, logs and distributed tracing (Grafana stack preferred), including dashboards, alerts and SLO-style reporting where applicable.
Drive platform reliability and production support: incident triage, root cause analysis, and preventative improvements.
Identify technical debt and prioritise platform improvements that reduce toil and improve developer experience.
Ensure solutions follow technology guidelines, security controls and operational constraints.
Work effectively in a geographically dispersed team; pair with colleagues and share knowledge through documentation and enablement sessions.
