Senior Vulnerability Specialist (f/m/x)

Sii is hiring a Senior Security Specialist to join their team in Kraków, working in a hybrid model. The role involves collaboration with a multi-skilled team to maintain high security standards.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Security or a similar role
• Strong expertise in SAST, DAST, MAST, and FOSS scanning techniques
• Demonstrable experience in vulnerability management and lifecycle processes
• Knowledge of coding or programming languages to review security-related issues
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure
• Ability to collaborate with a multi-skilled team and build effective working relationships
• High level of integrity and strong ethical values
• Excellent understanding of SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, GitHub, and Confluence
• Advanced level of English
• Hybrid work model: Kraków or Warsaw, with on-site presence required 6 days per month

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Nessus and other scanning technologies
• Familiarity with CVE’s, CWE’s, CISA, NVD, Mitre, and CVSS metrics

• Creating and improving operational models to guide daily operational activities
• Identifying service gaps and developing uplift plans for future state models
• Ensuring assessment functions react in real time to potential threats with high-quality standards
• Overseeing application security scanning techniques, including SAST, DAST, MAST, and FOSS scanning
• Managing documentation for audit purposes regarding false positives and temporary fixes
• Contributing to responses for regulators and internal/external audits
• Providing commentary for routine governance submissions like Cybersecurity Executive Committee updates
• Handling escalations and ad-hoc requests from various teams
