Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric (f/m/x)

Sii is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their Data & Analytics Competence Center, a specialized unit focused on data engineering, data processing, analytics, and cloud technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and serverless computing in Azure
• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, or similar tools
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required

Nice-to-have:

• Experience extracting data from various ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion) and API-related development
• Azure certifications

• Develop, deploy, and maintain data solutions on an enterprise-level platform for reporting, application, and analytical use cases
• Work primarily with structured data including financial, manufacturing, procurement, sales & marketing, pricing, etc.
• Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure data solutions on Azure using Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT processes
• Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas to support business needs
• Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Ensure security best practices and compliance across Azure architecture
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot data-related issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals
• Mentor and guide junior engineers
• Stay updated with latest Azure technologies and best practices
