Analytics Engineer

The client operates the largest multi-partner bonus program in Poland, partnering with large retail chains, service companies, and major e-commerce platforms.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with mass data processing.
• Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in modern cloud analytics platforms (preferably GCP) and/or Oracle or comparable relational database systems.
• Knowledge of Dataform on GCP or practical knowledge of similar data transformation tools (preferred dbt) or strong willingness to learn Dataform.
• Knowledge of Python for data analytics and data engineering purposes.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience building, maintaining, and assuring quality of complex data products combining multiple data sources.
• Knowledge of GitHub and practical use of GitHub Copilot.
• Experience working with business stakeholders.
• Experience migrating data transformation pipelines from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Interest in modern data architectures, automation, and AI/ML use cases.

• Migrate data and analytics processes from on-premise environments (Oracle, SAS, Python) to Google BigQuery using Dataform and dbt.
• Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines and analytical solutions using BigQuery, Dataform, SQL, Python, Vertex AI, and dbt.
• Contribute to reshaping and modernizing the Analytics Data Platform by moving analytics processes to a new environment in Google Cloud Platform.
• Participate in the internal community of experts to evaluate and co-create department work standards, quality assurance best practices, and architectural discussions.
• Proactively propose improvements and optimizations to data processes and analytical solutions.
• Work within an Agile framework, actively contributing to sprint planning, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Provide substantive support to other team members.
• Collaborate closely with analytics, data engineering, and business teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
