Senior Software Engineer, Agent Development Kit

Google Cloud AI Research team focuses on AI challenges aligned with Google Cloud's mission, working on research topics with scientific and real-world impact across industries such as tech, healthcare, finance, and retail. The team collaborates with product teams to bring innovations to customers and develops next-generation technologies impacting billions of users.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including Java, C/C++, Python, Objective C, JavaScript, or Go.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Preferred: Experience with Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), conversational AI systems, AI agents, or agentic frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience with AI, LLMs, Trust and Safety, and adversarial testing of GenAI products.
• Preferred: Knowledge of cloud technologies, products, and market landscape.

• Design and implement Agent Development Kit (ADK) in Go.
• Work closely with customers to onboard them to the ADK and the GenAI ecosystem.
• Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
