Go Developer

Andersen is hiring a Go Developer for a global insurance leader. The customer is an international organization operating in the financial and protection services domain, providing a diverse portfolio of customer-oriented solutions across multiple business areas and markets. The project involves core product development, system integrations, and processes related to payments and payment requests.

• Experience as a Go Developer for 3+ years.
• Solid experience with Golang, Docker, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ (or Kafka), gRPC, REST API, and backend testing.
• Understanding of Grafana and Prometheus functions and their use during development.
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building Go applications focused on resilience and uptime.
• Level of English: Advanced and above.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Nomad, Consul, Jaeger, OpenSearch, Sentry, or similar tools and services.

• Building a cutting-edge real-time cross-selling platform.
• Taking ownership of the backend that powers multiple user-facing apps, advancing the gRPC-based microservice architecture.
• Actively participating in code reviews to ensure high quality standards.
• Taking a proactive role in all aspects of platform design and development, focusing on scalability and availability.
