Data Analytics Engineer (f/m/x)

Sii is recruiting for a strategic project delivered for a Copenhagen-based fintech company.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with dbt and modern cloud data warehouses (BigQuery)
• Proficiency in SQL and experience building reusable models in layered architecture
• Ability to translate unclear business requirements into clean, maintainable data transformations
• Familiarity with Git workflows, version control, and CI/CD practices in analytics engineering
• Strong ownership and accountability for business-critical data products
• Experience working in environments with high engineering and governance standards
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with proactive stakeholder engagement
• Interest in developing expertise across payments, credit, and fraud/AML domains
• Effective communication in English in an international environment
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required

• Build and maintain core data models in dbt powering critical reporting and decision-making in credit, payments, and fraud/AML
• Partner with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts to define requirements and align on success criteria
• Translate complex or ambiguous business logic into scalable data solutions
• Contribute to the semantic layer (LookML) for consistent, scalable reporting and self-service analytics
• Take ownership of data quality through testing, monitoring, and documentation
• Support reliable data workflows using orchestration tools such as Airflow/Astronomer
• Uphold strong analytics engineering practices including code reviews and reducing technical debt
• Manage work across multiple data domains and shared definitions requiring adaptability and context switching
