Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Conduit

Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Our products handle information at massive scale and extend beyond web search. The Cloud Conduit team develops critical Cloud Networking services that act as a secure, efficient, and reliable bridge for both AI-driven and general-purpose traffic.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year experience with software design and architecture.
• Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Preferred: 5 years experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Preferred: 1 year experience in a technical leadership role.
• Preferred: Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems focusing on scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability.

• Work across organizational boundaries and functional teams to deliver impactful products and enhance technical knowledge.
• Focus on developing networking services with an emphasis on long-term maintainability and planet-scale reliability.
• Contribute to major Google products by implementing, testing, and deploying high-quality code.
• Partner closely with domain experts, Tech Leads, and Product Managers to translate organizational needs into actionable technical deliverables.
• Expand your knowledge and skills to leverage emerging opportunities.
