Forward Deployed Engineer III, Google Cloud Consulting

Google Cloud’s AI GTM team delivers transformative customer experiences by embedding cutting-edge AI solutions within enterprises. The role is part of a collaborative culture with access to DeepMind's engineering and research, focusing on deploying advanced AI systems and shaping Google Cloud's AI product roadmap.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience designing, building, and deploying NLP models and generative AI agents.
• Experience implementing DevOps and MLOps pipelines.
• Experience building generative AI solutions in customer-facing roles.
• Experience with ML infrastructure tasks like model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging, and coding in Python.
• Preferred: Master’s or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferred: Experience with multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or Google’s ADK.
• Preferred: Knowledge of LLM-native metrics and optimization techniques.
• Preferred: Ability to implement secure agentic workflows with MCP, tool-calling, and OAuth authentication.
• Preferred: Ability to communicate in French, Spanish, Italian, or other European languages.

• Serve as lead developer for complex AI applications transitioning prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows such as multi-agent systems and MCP servers.
• Architect and code integrations linking Google’s AI products with customer infrastructure, including APIs, legacy data silos, and security perimeters.
• Build high-performance evaluation and observability frameworks to ensure agentic systems meet accuracy, safety, and latency requirements.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points in Google’s AI stack and convert them into reusable modules or product feature requests.
• Co-build with customer engineering teams to instill Google-grade development best practices for long-term project success and adoption.
