Senior Android Developer

Our Client dominates the Polish e-commerce arena as the market leader since 1999, with over 20 million users. The client has a talented IT team of over 1,000 employees focusing on developing their own cutting-edge technologies. Jit Team has partnered with this client since 2021, supporting multiple autonomous software development teams designing platform components through micro-services. This project offers the opportunity to work on a large-scale mobile application delivering ad technology and software at massive scale with significant business impact. Jit Team employs over 700 experts and values development, offering various benefits and professional programs.

• 5+ years of commercial experience in native Android development using Kotlin
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with REST APIs and asynchronous programming
• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Experience with high-traffic mobile applications
• Knowledge of reactive programming (e.g., RxJava, RxKotlin, Combine)
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and Coroutines
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks
• Contributions to open-source projects or an active GitHub profile
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features, ensuring high quality, performance, and responsiveness
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and help maintain high code quality standards
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
• Continuously improve development processes, tools, and infrastructure
• Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers
• Stay up-to-date with latest mobile technologies and industry trends
