Junior Machine Learning Engineer

• Master's Degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related field
• 0-2 years’ experience creating machine learning algorithms
• Programming experience using Python
• Experience working with large, real-world datasets
• Good project management, time management, and organizational skills
• Eagerness to collaborate with business owners to ensure appropriate questions are addressed

• Supporting development of Agentic AI solutions in the life sciences domain
• Fine-tuning pre-trained foundation models and supporting different stakeholders with analysis and implementation
• Assisting in the transformation of machine learning research domain expertise into viable prototypes
• Assisting in the development of model features on projects and products with guidance
• Developing understanding of new algorithms alongside other engineers and scientists
• Assisting in building and training production grade algorithms from complex data
• Using techniques to improve natural language processing and machine learning algorithms
• Assisting in testing and validation of models for deployment viability
• Assisting in creating experiments and prototype ideas to address pharma questions
• Consulting internal and external clients; implementing solutions with guidance and supporting AI project delivery
