Verita HR is hiring for a Database Services Manager role supporting database operations in a hybrid environment with cloud and on-premises technologies.
Wymagania
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.
- Proven experience as Database operations manager in 24x7 support systems.
- Working expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Always-On 2019 to 2025.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Packer in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google).
- Experience with NoSQL DBMS such as MongoDB.
- Experience with Data Warehouse technologies, specifically Snowflake.
- Familiarity with ITIL and Agile frameworks.
- Experience with Workday.
- Fast learner, critical thinker, proactive, enthusiastic, and dedicated.
Obowiązki
- Manage Database Services operations team supporting SQL Server HA Always On clusters using Terraform and Ansible.
- Schedule and manage shifts, conduct monthly and yearly reviews, and handle performance improvement plans.
- Oversee weekend maintenance activities including automated OS patching, software releases, database reindexing, change management, and scheduled migrations.
- Oversee BAU production and disaster recovery system operations, performance, resource management, and budgeting.
- Ensure adherence to company and team processes, best practices, and procedures.
- Build new automation processes and tools using Terraform and Ansible.
- Support Data Warehouse (Snowflake) and NoSQL (MongoDB) projects.
