Senior Business Analysis Practitioner

We are looking for a highly technical Hybrid Business Analyst and Associate Product Owner who operates fluently at the intersection of enterprise technology, data architecture, and agile product management. This role is designed to inject stronger technical capabilities into the delivery ecosystem, working closely with IT stakeholders such as Enterprise and Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Development Teams in the Mobile Messaging and MarTech space.

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst / Consultant
• Experience working with Solution/System Architects in technical environments
• Practical knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies (e.g. Scrum, SAFe)
• Experience with diagramming, mockuping, and UI design tools
• Business domain knowledge in commercial excellence, CRM, omnichannel marketing, marketing automation, analytics; social media and mobile messaging a plus
• Ability to quickly learn new business domains
• Ability to collaborate across areas for Business Analysis activities including Requirements Elicitation, Solution Design, Stakeholder Management, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement

• Requirements Engineering & Backlog Management
• Technical Story Deconstruction: Transform high-level feature goals into granular technical user stories and actionable development requirements
• Backlog Co-Grooming & Refinement: Jointly manage the team backlog, including drafting acceptance criteria, user scenarios, and data mappings
• Subject Matter PO Delivery: Act autonomously as Product Owner/Proxy PO for specific technical domains
• Technical Analysis & Architecture Collaboration
• System & Data Mapping: Map system workflows, data models, and API logic for seamless integration
• Architect & Vendor Collaboration: Conduct technical assessments and lead discussions with System Architect and vendors
• Cross-Team Connectivity: Resolve dependencies across systems, components, and teams
• Agile Ceremonies & Daily Dev Support
• Daily Tactical Support: Provide technical resources to development team to maintain sprint velocity
• Sprint Execution: Support Scrum Master/RTE and PO during agile ceremonies
• Quality Assurance & UAT: Write acceptance criteria, testing scenarios, and drive User Acceptance Testing
• Strategic PO Alignment & Business Analysis
• PO Proxy: Support and substitute PO as needed
• Data & Gap Analysis: Execute analyses on business cases
• Prioritization Support: Prepare backlog for prioritization
• Decision making capability
