AI Engineer – GenAI & Cloud (f/m/x)

Sii is looking for AI engineers skilled in building and deploying AI systems into production environments. The company offers exposure to a variety of projects including generative AI for legal document compliance, agentic systems in manufacturing, enterprise-scale AI platforms, computer vision, and autonomous driving. Sii provides access to AI-powered development tools and supports conference attendance and speaking opportunities.

• At least 4 years of experience in software or ML engineering with production AI/ML systems
• Strong skills in Python, writing maintainable and tested code for production
• Practical experience with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or equivalents
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and its AI/ML services
• Experience with vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval systems
• Familiarity with MLOps fundamentals including model versioning, experiment tracking, CI/CD for ML, and monitoring
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with architects, data engineers, and product teams
• Fluent in English and Polish (both written and spoken)
• Residency in Poland required

Nice to have:

• Experience fine-tuning LLMs (e.g., LoRA, QLoRA) or working with model training pipelines
• Background in classical ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, time series forecasting, or recommendation systems
• Experience with containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or published technical writing

• Build and deploy knowledge-grounded AI systems including data ingestion, embedding pipelines, retrieval, re-ranking, and response generation
• Develop agentic applications utilizing frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, and Semantic Kernel
• Implement and maintain ML pipelines for prediction, classification, recommendation, and optimization
• Deploy and optimize model serving infrastructure including API endpoints, batching, caching, GPU utilization, and cost management
• Write clean, tested, production-grade Python code
• Build evaluation and monitoring pipelines with automated quality checks, drift detection, latency tracking, and human-in-the-loop feedback
• Work with cloud-native AI services on at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Collaborate with AI Architects and data engineers on technical design and data quality
