DevOps Engineer

We have partnered with our Client, a leading HR company with over 60 years of experience and a presence in multiple countries around the world. Our Client provides recruitment and job placement services and is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their career goals. In Poland, our Client has been operating for over 20 years and is a leader in digitization in the HR services industry. Since 2019, the team has been building the Time tracking system for this Client, a complex tool for registering and settling working time of employees under diverse conditions, supporting onboarding, and integrating with an employee portal and mobile app.

Jit Team employs over 770 experienced experts and collaborates with global clients to create innovative IT solutions through highly specialized and efficient teams. The company also engages in charitable and educational activities and supports local initiatives in Poland.

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS
• Good knowledge of AWS services including ECS, EC2, ECR, RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL, IAM, S3, SQS, SES, Route 53, VPC, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation (SAM)
• Solid PostgreSQL administration skills (users, roles, permissions, backups/restores, version upgrades)
• Experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of GitLab administration
• Good Linux administration and shell scripting skills
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, routing, security groups, SSL/TLS, proxies)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/SAM)
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and prioritize tasks
• Good communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)

• Take ownership of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellence across dev, QA, pre-production, and production environments
• Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks
• Collaborate closely with multiple development teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Apigee API Gateway
• Familiarity with Terraform
• Experience with ElastiCache, Redis, or Valkey
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose
