Senior QA Engineer

Jit Team manages over 60 projects for a leading Nordic financial group with over 200 personnel engaged. The client prioritizes Scandinavian organizational culture, work-life balance, feedback culture, and international teams with English language exposure.

• Senior-level testing experience (8+ years), preferably with mortgage domain knowledge
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to quality and detail
• Manual testing skills covering functional, system, integration, and API testing
• Proven involvement in end-to-end testing across complex systems
• General testing knowledge up to ISTQB Foundation Level
• Practical knowledge of test management tools (qTest, Xray, HP ALM)
• Experience working in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence
• Ability to define, execute, and report tests for complex software systems

• Experience with Postman
• REST Assured
• Cypress
• CI/CD pipelines
• Microservices architecture testing
• Web and Mobile UI system testing

• Perform end-to-end testing of applications and ecosystems within the mortgage domain
• Analyze requirements, design test scenarios, create detailed test cases, and execute manual functional tests
• Identify, document, track defects, collaborate with developers, and conduct retesting and regression testing
• Review functional requirements for completeness and testability, participate in refinement sessions
• Verify integration points, validate data flow, and test third-party integrations functionally
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners; participate in Agile ceremonies; communicate test progress and estimates
• Provide test status reports and quality metrics; assess release readiness; support UAT activities
• Plan and execute regression testing for each release
