Engineering Manager - InPost Pay (m/f/n)

InPost is one of Europe’s leading OOH e-commerce enablement platforms, founded in 1999. It operates a network of almost 47,000 Automated Parcel Machines (APMs) and nearly 35,000 pick-up drop-off points (PUDO) across nine European countries, offering delivery and fulfilment services to e-commerce merchants. The company’s lockers provide a cheaper, flexible, convenient, environmentally friendly, and contactless delivery option. The role is within the InPost Pay team, providing an all-in-one checkout solution integrated with the InPost Mobile app, simplifying online shopping by combining payment and delivery.

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• 2+ years of experience in people leadership.
• 2+ years of experience in project or delivery management.
• Very good command of English (B2+) in speech and writing.
• Strong technical background in Java.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure technologies, especially GCP and AWS, including cloud migration.
• Experience with system design and modern engineering practices.
• Proven ability to lead change and build teams in evolving environments.
• Product mindset with end-to-end ownership.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and large language models (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance productivity and solve complex problems.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply them responsibly within professional workflows.

Nice to have:

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD.
• Exposure to security, compliance, or enterprise environments.

• Oversee & develop the team: mentor engineers, foster a collaborative and high-performance environment, support their growth through regular feedback.
• Own the product: drive planning and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Provide technical leadership: guide architecture, coding standards, and security practices while promoting engineering excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: partner with product and stakeholders, align priorities, and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Ensure quality & performance: maintain high standards for code quality, reliability, scalability, and system performance.
