Senior Linux Engineer

• Advanced administration experience with Linux systems
• Practical knowledge of Linux Server environments: RedHat, Oracle Linux
• Administration and maintenance experience of application servers like JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, OHS, WildFly, Spring Boot
• Knowledge of automation tools, especially Rundeck and Ansible
• Experience in ensuring high availability, quality, performance, and security of server infrastructure
• Knowledge of cryptography concepts including PKI and PGP
• Understanding of IP network management
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python
• Experience in performance analysis, monitoring, diagnostics, and incident resolution on Linux systems
• Analytical thinking and rapid problem-solving abilities
• Very good command of Polish and English, spoken and written
• Experience working with international technical teams and SMEs from various countries

Nice to have:

• Current RHCE certification
• Experience in application migration projects, especially between data centers
• Experience in transactional, payment, or financial system environments

• Administration, configuration, and maintenance of Linux server environments, especially RedHat and Oracle Linux
• Supporting application migration between data centers including building, configuring, testing, and transferring environments
• Collaborating with Application & Middleware teams for BAU tasks
• Close cooperation with Project Managers for migration planning and execution
• Preparing and handling infrastructure build requests, configurations, and access
• Identifying and resolving project blockers
• Diagnosing and solving technical problems
• Monitoring environments for performance, reliability, and availability
• Analyzing Linux system performance, monitoring, diagnosing, and incident handling
• Creating and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation in Confluence
