Senior Python Engineer

The position is for a Senior Python Engineer at iTeamly, focused on a greenfield distributed backend platform within a complex manufacturing environment.

• 5+ years of commercial Python development experience
• Strong background in backend development
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices
• Solid understanding of REST API design
• Experience with SQL databases and data modeling
• Knowledge of concurrency and scalable system design
• Experience working with Git and modern development workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Exposure to manufacturing / MES / IoT systems
• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with ETL / data pipelines
• Experience integrating ERP / enterprise systems

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python
• Build distributed systems and microservices
• Design REST APIs, data models, and backend architecture
• Develop integrations between enterprise systems and external platforms
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workflow automation
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Improve system scalability, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple technical domains
