Solution Architect

We are looking for a Solution Architect for a pharmaceutical company who will be the primary authority for end-to-end integration architecture and systemic design across a multi-platform enterprise ecosystem. The role involves designing, validating, and governing highly scalable, secure, and resilient data integrations across multiple disparate systems within a global governance framework.

• Proven experience as a Senior Solution Architect or Integration Architect delivering large-scale enterprise integration solutions with at least 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Tech Lead.
• Strong expertise in API architecture, integration patterns including REST, GraphQL, event-driven, and asynchronous messaging.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, schema design, data mapping, and system integration across heterogeneous platforms.
• Experience with enterprise architecture governance, technical design reviews, and stakeholder management at senior leadership level.
• Solid knowledge of security and identity standards including OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SSO, and CIAM concepts.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Integration architecture design:

• Lead end-to-end architectural design of complex, high-throughput integration streams.
• Define pattern-based integration strategies such as event-driven, synchronous/asynchronous APIs, pub/sub, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Formulate and enforce foundational technical patterns, API contracts, and middleware strategies to align disparate systems ensuring data integrity and system decoupling.
• Define and govern data schemas, payload structures, and message formats.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to establish field-level mapping, data transformation rules, and serialization protocols.
• Standardize implementation designs focusing on non-functional requirements including error handling, idempotent processing, retry policies, circuit breakers, and rate-limiting.
• Present, justify, and defend technical designs, trade-offs, and architectural decisions before the Global Enterprise Architecture Board and peer architects.
