Senior Middleware Engineer – Data Center Migration

This position is for a senior middleware engineer working for a leading financial technology services provider supporting payment card acceptance, issuing, and processing operations. The role focuses on critical data center migration projects to ensure stability, performance, and resilience of transactional systems serving millions of users.

• At least 5 years of experience working with middleware technologies and enterprise application support.
• Strong knowledge of BMC Control-M.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX).
• Expertise in Oracle Data Integrator 12c, Oracle Internet Directory 11g/12c, Oracle Forms 11g/12c, Oracle Reports 11g/12c, ORDS, Oracle Service Bus 11g/12c, and Oracle WebLogic 11g/12c.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL scripting and automation tools such as Perl, PowerShell, Shell, Bash, and Python.
• Experience in application migration projects, especially data center to data center.
• Understanding of availability, performance monitoring, and infrastructure aspects like network solutions, load balancing, and TLS.
• Excellent communication skills in Polish and English (communicative level).
• Ability to work effectively with SMEs across multiple countries.

Nice to have:

• Certifications or experience in Rundeck or Ansible.

• Collaborate closely with the FTS Application & Middleware Team on BAU tasks and support ongoing operations.
• Partner with Project Managers to plan, test, and execute migration activities, including infrastructure setup, configurations, and access management.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within the middleware environment.
• Monitor system performance and reliability to ensure seamless transaction processing.
• Produce comprehensive live documentation using Confluence for project transparency and ongoing support.
