Engineering Manager, Agent Development Kit

Google Cloud delivers enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Google's technology and tools to help developers build scalable AI agent frameworks across Go, Java, and Kotlin. The role focuses on leading the Agent Development Kit (ADK) team to improve framework capabilities, performance, and developer experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in people management or team leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

• Manage a high-performing team of software engineers, guiding their execution, career growth, and technical development.
• Set the technical goal and long-term roadmap for your team, while influencing the cross-functional direction of the broader organization.
• Maintain a high bar for code quality through direct development, detailed code reviews, and robust technical design leadership across the entire stack.
• Collaborate across product and partner teams to align on technical requirements and clear technical blockers.
