Cybersecurity Officer

AVENGA is an agency operating in Poland, associated with global IT projects, focusing on cybersecurity governance and compliance.

• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer and/or Lead Auditor certification.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 requirements.
• Expertise in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
• Ability to influence senior leaders in a complex global environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with NIS2 compliance.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Agile, and Scrum.

• Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the cybersecurity governance framework.
• Support global implementation and certification of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Translate regulatory and framework requirements into actionable cybersecurity standards, procedures, and controls.
• Perform regulatory and framework requirement mapping and gap assessments.
• Coordinate cybersecurity governance activities across the organization.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and collaboration across business and technology functions.
• Act as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity governance, compliance, risk management, and control effectiveness.
• Support audit readiness, certification activities, and continuous compliance initiatives.
