Senior Kotlin Multiplatform Developer

The role is with Jit Team, a Polish IT company employing over 770 experts. The developer will join a team working on mobile solutions based on Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) in the banking sector. The client is one of the leading banks in Poland with a history of pioneering financial technologies and innovations, including biometric applications and AI-driven solutions. Jit Team supports educational and charitable initiatives and has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry.

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• At least 2 years of commercial experience with Kotlin
• Minimum 1 year practical production experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, including Coroutines, Flow, and shared module design (commonMain, expect/actual)
• Experience designing application architecture (Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI)
• Knowledge of Android platform (Jetpack Compose, ViewModel, Lifecycle, Hilt/Koin)
• Experience integrating KMP with iOS applications (Swift/SwiftUI)
• Experience with REST API or GraphQL, Kotlinx Serialization, caching, and error handling
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing, including MockK and testing Coroutines and Flow
• Experience with Gradle and CI/CD processes
• Ability to design scalable solutions, perform code reviews, and refactor code

• Design application architecture and develop shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules
• Integrate with native Android and iOS layers
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams
• Divide functionality between shared and platform-specific code
• Conduct code reviews and refactor solutions

Nice to have:

• Experience with Compose Multiplatform
• Knowledge of Ktor
• Experience with Kotlin/JS or WebAssembly
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
