Salesforce Developer (Mid / Senior) | Automotive Industry

Volkswagen Group Polska is an international organization operating within the automotive industry. The role involves working on complex projects spanning Automotive Cloud, Data Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, including integration with external systems such as MuleSoft.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience; 5+ years for senior roles.
• Strong skills in Apex programming (triggers, asynchronous Apex) and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Solid understanding of the Salesforce object model and query languages (SOQL / SOSL).
• Proven experience in successful end-to-end Salesforce development projects, preferably in enterprise automotive or manufacturing clients.
• Experience with Sales Cloud and general Salesforce Industries development and configuration.
• Understanding of Data Cloud and its cooperation with other Salesforce solutions, especially Agentforce.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills within Salesforce environment.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce development best practices regarding governor limits, bulkification, security, and sharing.
• Commitment to writing test classes and maintaining high code coverage.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II or other certifications are assets.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2 / C1).
• Proficiency with SF CLI and version control (e.g., Git).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (preferably GitHub Actions) for automated deployments and AI tools for code analysis.
• Familiarity with packaging and deployment strategies (change sets, unlocked packages).
• Strong knowledge of integration frameworks including MuleSoft or equivalent RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and middleware.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and practical experience with OmniStudio and Salesforce Industry Clouds, especially Automotive Cloud.
• Knowledge of other Salesforce Clouds such as Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud.
• Experience working with Data Cloud and Agentforce implementations.
• Experience in MuleSoft development.

• Develop and modify Apex classes, triggers, Salesforce metadata, and automation (Flows / Process Builder) to meet business requirements.
• Build user interface components using configuration and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Ensure scalable development following best practices including bulkified code and proper error handling.
• Work closely with Salesforce Tech Lead / Architect to understand requirements and implement Salesforce capabilities or integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Salesforce best practices.
• Maintain thorough code documentation and create robust Apex test classes to ensure high test coverage.
• Perform peer code reviews and refactor code as needed.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using MuleSoft or REST / SOAP APIs.
• Stay updated on Salesforce platform enhancements and best practices.
• Continuously improve development skills through training resources and team collaboration.
• Collaborate with team members to design solutions meeting business needs.
• Participate in code reviews, validate and refine requirements, propose approaches, and provide development estimates.
