T Hub - DevOps Engineer

T-Mobile is a part of the Deutsche Telekom Group operating in the IoT domain. The role involves working in an international IoT Operations team focused on M2M/IoT network solutions with a strong emphasis on automation and modern engineering practices.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT/NT environments, preferably in mobile data services or Internet-related areas
• Experience operating complex environments including networks, servers, firewalls, and IT/network management systems
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cloud operations, containerization, and Kubernetes or similar platforms like OpenShift
• Solid knowledge and practical application of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows
• Experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting cloud services using GitOps principles and tools such as Flux
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, Elasticsearch, Git, and scripting (Shell, Python) in Linux/Unix environments
• Experience in monitoring and observability using tools such as Prometheus, ELK stack, or Grafana
• Strong communication skills in English (minimum B2 level); German is a plus
• Team-oriented, proactive, and open-minded attitude
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and basic Linux administration is a plus
• Exposure to tools and technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Ansible, Helm, Jira, Confluence, GraphQL, NoSQL databases, or Big Data tools is a plus
• Experience in software development, testing, or cloud capacity management is a plus
• Availability for on-call support (24/7) and occasional night shifts for release deployments

• Provide Operation Project Manager role to address technical requirements
• Support 3rd level organizations and interface with application vendors
• Perform 3rd Level Incident, Problem, and Change Management with thorough analysis
• Identify, implement, and maintain monitoring systems
• Perform system analysis to detect performance and functional issues
• Maintain application configuration
• Contribute actively to CI/CD chain for infrastructure as code environment
• Participate in transformation from legacy to cloudified environment
• Analyze and troubleshoot hybrid services (cloud and classic virtualization)
• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot classic virtualization-based services
