Senior Java Developer

Hays IT Contracting operates on B2B principles, connecting IT specialists with innovative technology projects. The role involves working on applications supporting tax areas, account management, and investment processes for savings and retirement products.

• Experience in upgrade projects (Java, Spring Boot)
• Practical knowledge of Java (including Java 21) and Spring Boot
• Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, SQL)
• Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., JMS, MQ)
• Very good knowledge of Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
• Familiarity with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI
• Experience with Git and CI/CD
• Knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented programming

• Update applications to at least Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.3.x
• Design, develop, and maintain applications supporting savings and investment products
• Create calculation mechanisms compliant with current tax regulations in various countries
• Develop solutions supporting complex business processes, integrations with external systems, and client reporting
• Participate in the full software lifecycle (requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment)
• Collaborate with business and analytical teams
