Junior Infrastructure Security Engineer

The Daylight PMS system is a distributed solution serving hospitality, featuring domain-oriented microservices maintained by cross-functional teams.

• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in a similar position.
• Basic understanding of cloud environments: approximately 90% AWS, 10% multicloud including Tencent, AliYun, Oracle Cloud, Azure.
• Basic understanding of cloud-related risks.
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD security concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud security audit methodologies.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes.
• Skills in cloud environment audits and IaC code review.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Tencent Cloud Practitioner).

• Help design and implement security measures for cloud environments.
• Conduct basic security audits of cloud environments.
• Perform solutions review and threat modeling.
• Create reports from security audits and solution reviews.
• Assist in creating technical documentation of security requirements.
• Cooperate in fixing security issues.
• Support SOC/NOC teams during security incidents.
• Help with security tools implementation and maintenance.
• Manage access among various cloud environments.
• Perform internal communication regarding identified findings.
• No meetings with clients.

Candidates must be based in the Silesia region (office in Katowice). Fully remote work is not an option. Applications from distant locations will not be considered.
