Wymagania
- PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, Power Systems, or related technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience developing mathematical and analytical models for electrical power systems.
- Proven background designing, executing, and evaluating numerical simulations for power system studies.
- Practical experience with power system modeling and simulation platforms such as PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ATP, MATLAB/Simulink or comparable tools.
- Programming skills beyond Python, e.g., in C++, C#, Java, Rust, or similar languages.
- Track record of collaborative work, innovation, and strategic contribution in multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning, research excellence, and professional growth.
- Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
- Experience applying Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence techniques in simulation-driven engineering and analysis.
- Knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC) environments and performance optimization for simulations.
- Experience using mathematical power system models for optimization, decision-making, or advanced control.
- Broader software engineering expertise including architecture, testing, development practices, or system design.
Obowiązki
- Lead and contribute to research and development of mathematical models and simulation frameworks assessing reliability and stability of modern power systems with renewable and distributed energy resources.
- Collaborate with international teams of researchers and engineers to solve complex challenges using modeling, simulation, and analytical methods.
- Generate and evaluate innovative ideas for numerical simulations, transforming concepts into validated prototypes with business value.
- Develop solutions combining physical and mathematical power system models with optimization methods, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Apply multidisciplinary simulation studies using industry-standard tools and develop new simulation algorithms and methodologies.
- Act as subject matter expert sharing knowledge and promoting best practices across teams.
- Cooperate with external stakeholders including universities, research institutions, open-source communities, technology vendors, and startups.
- Present and disseminate research results via technical reports, scientific publications, conferences, and intellectual property activities.
