Architekt IT (Data Science)

The position is within a team working on a banking project for one of the leading banks in Poland. The project involves designing, building, and developing modern data platforms in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. The client offers a wide range of financial services for individual, corporate, and institutional clients and is recognized for pioneering technological innovations such as the first credit card in Poland, biometric applications in banking, and account opening via selfie. Jit Team employs over 770 experts, delivering innovative IT solutions globally and actively supports educational and charitable initiatives in Poland.

• Experience designing and implementing solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL
• Practical familiarity with Dataproc, Composer (Apache Airflow), Cloud Storage, and BigQuery services
• Experience working with GitHub and Google Artifact Registry
• Ability to design data processing architecture

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of DBT
• Knowledge of Terraform

• Design and develop Data Engineering solutions in the Google Cloud Platform environment
• Implement and maintain data processing pipelines using Dataproc and Composer (Airflow)
• Design data models and solutions based on BigQuery
• Develop applications and integration components using Python and SQL
• Collaborate with project teams on data architecture design and implementation following DevOps and cloud best practices
