Senior C++ Developer

The project is part of the Grid Automation domain, developing innovative, secure, and reliable software applications using modern C++ (C++17/20) for real-time power systems operation supporting global energy infrastructure.

• University degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
• 8+ years experience in senior technical roles
• Advanced proficiency in modern C++ (C++17/20), including RAII, smart pointers, STL, concurrency, and memory management
• Practical knowledge of C# development
• Strong experience with multithreading, synchronization primitives, asynchronous I/O, and real-time system design
• Proficiency with building systems using CMake and Visual Studio and cross-platform development for Windows and Linux
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
• Demonstrated expertise in performance profiling, optimization, and low-latency systems
• Understanding of software architecture principles and secure, scalable system design
• Excellent problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges
• Good understanding of unit and integration testing techniques and frameworks
• Knowledge of non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, and security
• Practical experience developing systems for power grid management and monitoring
• Understanding of power grid operations and applicable standards
• Experience with industrial automation systems (SCADA, IED, RTU)

• Develop system design focusing on multithreading, synchronization, I/O, and latency requirements for real-time operation
• Develop high-performance C++ cores integrating with managed runtime services such as .NET and RUST with minimal latency
• Implement performance optimizations including profiling, minimizing lock contention, and reducing memory allocations
• Maintain high code quality via code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to SOLID, KISS, DRY, and industry best practices
• Participate in system design, best practices, and maintaining code quality in performance-critical sections
• Engage in technical architecture reviews, design documentation, and roadmaps for feature development and legacy code modernization
• Support technology decisions on dependencies, build tooling, dependency management, and secure software supply chain practices
• Maintain cross-platform support ensuring compatibility with Linux and Windows environments
• Develop practical Linux deployment strategies
• Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions
• Continuously enhance existing systems and develop new features
• Work effectively within an agile environment and participate in cross-disciplinary teams
