Senior Software Engineer, AI Agent Ecosystem, ADK

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years experience in software development with one or more programming languages (e.g., Kotlin, C++, Java).
• 3 years experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

• Define and drive architectural goals, technical strategy, and roadmap for foundational open-source libraries and SDKs within the ADK and related protocols.
• Architect and lead development of mission-critical tooling and infrastructure to improve testing, debugging, deployment, and observability of AI agents.
• Provide technical leadership by managing ambiguous technical issues, mentoring junior engineers, advocating engineering excellence, and influencing technical direction.
• Initiate long-term investments to reduce architectural complexity, improve system health, and enable new capabilities for the AI agent ecosystem.
