Software Engineer III, Infrastructure, Cloud

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• 2 years of software development experience in Java or Go or 1 year with an advanced degree in an industry setting.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• 2 years experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience with networking protocols, networking, large-scale distributed systems, Cloud, and Cloud networking.
• Experience with large distributed systems performance analysis and optimization.

• Work on evolving the Cloud Domain Name System product for Google Kubernetes Engine and support Cloud Domains in Google Cloud Platform.
• Build new features, lead and own the design process, and drive implementation in Go, C++, and Java.
• Communicate and coordinate with product management, program management, and partner engineering teams.
• Grow and evolve existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and lead the rollout of features into production.
• Provide input to the long-term evolution of the platform and strategy.
