Software Engineer III, Experimentation Platforms

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience with one or more of the following: C++, Java, Go.
• Experience designing and developing cloud-based applications and services with strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and micro-services architecture.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building scalable distributed systems.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions enabling safe feature roll-outs, feature flagging, and experimentation across Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with major engineering teams to integrate experimentation capabilities into their services.
• Build robust tools and automation to streamline developer experience for managing software experiments.
• Participate in technical design discussions ensuring feature management platforms are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide consistent high-quality platform experiences across all Google platforms, internal and external.
