Senior Software Developer with Java, Spring boot & SQL

• Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and SQL
• Additional knowledge of API, APACHE Camel, Avro, Cloud Foundry
• Experience developing complex products/solutions on time and according to specifications and standards
• Achievement of targeted product quality
• Application of development processes, guidelines, and tools
• Documentation of steps, milestones, and processes/solutions as required
• Recognized as an expert in the area of responsibility
• Ability to solve escalated problems
• Effective communication and teamwork including with external development partners
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• English language skills at B2/C1 level
• Passion for clean and smart code and excellent engineering work

• Design, specification, implementation of software features according to defined requirements
• Act as an active team member within the development team to develop high-quality products
• Follow defined ways of working, coding standards, and procedures
• Cooperate with local and international teams including technical and project management
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs in cooperation with Quality Assurance and customers
• Refactor and optimize existing code
• Act as a technical advisor for development and service while maintaining high product and solution knowledge
• Provide development support during lifecycle of complex modules, products, and solutions
• Responsible for development of new versions and updates
• Evaluate technical trends and suggest innovative product ideas, processes, and solutions
• Provide and support technical documentation according to internal standards
• Provide maintenance support and problem solving for own modules and components if necessary
• Guide less experienced team members and recommend practice improvements
