Cloud Data Engineer - 100 % remote

AVENGA is an international company recruiting for a role focused on cloud-based client services development and operation.

• Several years of professional experience as a data engineer or similar position
• Clean programming skills with an agile mindset and passion for DataOps
• Solid knowledge of Google Cloud Services and Terraform preferred
• Experience with Python (including Poetry, Pydantic, Google Python APIs)
• Experience handling large datasets
• High quality awareness, trustworthiness, and interest in new technologies
• Ability to work independently in an agile cross-functional team

Nice to have:

• Experience with PySpark, SQL, Airflow, Jenkins, OpenShift, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, Kafka

• Develop and operate services in the cloud
• Analyze, understand, and support requirements through the full product lifecycle (DataOps)
• Contribute to solution design including development, testing, and documentation
• Conduct analyses and research to solve complex business problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile team members and internal stakeholders to develop data products and KPIs
