Senior IT Project Manager – Financial Services Transformation

Our client is a leading financial institution dedicated to innovative banking solutions.

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects within banking or major financial institutions.
• Proven expertise in software development project lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Significant experience with migration, transformation, or system modernization projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (minimum B2 level).
• Fluent command of Polish and English.
• Proficiency with Jira, MS Project, and the MS Office suite.
• High autonomy, responsibility, and results-oriented mindset.

Nice to have:

• Certifications such as PMI, Agile, or PRINCE2.
• Experience coordinating collaboration between back-end and front-end teams for mobile applications.

• Lead the decomposition and phased decommissioning of core banking systems to enable migration to modern architecture.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders to achieve project milestones and maintain high-quality standards.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and risks to deliver results within budget and schedule.
• Develop detailed project plans using Jira, MS Project, and MS Office to track progress and communicate updates.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation phases with business and technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as PMI, Agile, or PRINCE2, and implement best practices in project management.
• Communicate effectively and negotiate successfully with diverse stakeholders.
• Drive decision-making under pressure, maintaining focus on project goals and outcomes.
