Director of AI Products

We are looking for a Director of AI Products to join a New York-headquartered AI company building infrastructure for enterprise AI agents. The platform encodes a company's policies, workflows, and operational logic into a structured data model, aimed at producing auditable, repeatable outcomes. Customers include global consumer brands, logistics operators, and financial institutions.

• Product leadership experience including hiring, managing, and developing product manager teams
• Track record of converting product strategy into shipped, measured outcomes
• Practical experience building with LLMs and agent systems including evaluation frameworks and trust design
• Demonstrated prioritization skills, optimizing for outcome over volume of releases
• Experience in direct customer contact with impact defined by customer metrics
• Clear perspective on agentic AI market direction and positioning
• Experience building for enterprise security requirements involving sensitive AI data workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication suitable for engineers, executives, and buyers
• Daily use of AI tools within product workflow with verification standards applied

Nice to have:

• Production experience with agentic systems: tool calling, orchestration, retrieval, or LLM-backed products at scale
• Experience shipping or selling to enterprise buyers with audit, reliability, and trust requirements
• Technical depth sufficient to hold credibility with senior engineers and independently assess feasibility

• Shape product direction alongside the CEO and CTO, sequencing bets and setting delivery plans
• Lead, hire, and grow a team of AI-native product managers while raising the hiring bar as the team scales
• Work hands-on with designers and engineers from problem definition through shipped product
• Ship agentic AI products enterprises can rely on, including evaluation infrastructure, trust surface, and UX
• Ground every product decision in direct customer evidence and define success in user and business terms
• Apply AI across research, definition, and prototyping with a high verification bar on tool outputs
